Apple® Return Process


Due to Apple's® current billing process, Recharge Studios is unable to directly refund any application purchases. Apple provides a customer support center for users looking to acquire information related to iTunes support inquiries. In response to this restriction, Recharge Studios provides the following detailed step-by-step instructions to assist our customers with requesting a refund from Apple. Users are encouraged to send an email at support@rechargestudios.com if further assistance is needed.

Before you Begin:

Recharge Studios recommends that you review Apple’s refund policy. The Apple refund policy can be found at http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/salespolicies.html

 

Reasons for a Refund:

  • Inadvertent Purchases: The 1-Click ordering system that Apple licensed from Amazon® makes it easy for anyone to buy apps, songs, movies and games from the iTunes Store® with a single click but it can sometimes lead to accidental purchases. 
  • You have an iPhone but you accidentally bought an iPad® version of an in-app.
  • You wanted to buy a game but there were at least a dozen similar titles on the iTunes Store. The one you bought is not the one you were originally looking for and you want to return it to Apple.
  • You have two or more iTunes accounts and you purchased an iPhone app using the wrong iTunes account.

Step 1:

Open iTunes from your PC and select the iTunes Store link in the left hand column.

Step 2:

Click on your account name and select Account from the dropdown

Step 3:

Enter in your iTunes login info (if required)

Step 4:

Click on Purchase History to view all purchases

 

Step 5:

Select Report a Problem at the bottom right of the purchase history page

Step 6:

Select Report a Problem for the application of concern

Step 7:

Select a Problem from the dropdown menu

Step 8:

Insert comment and select submit. Be as detailed as possible to the problem you are reporting.

Step 9:

If Apple decides you are entitled to a refund you will receive a response within 2-3 business days and the funds will be refunded within 7-10 business days.
